Republic Leeds Launch

I was lucky enough to be invited up to Leeds last Thursday by Slam PR for the Exclusive Republic Leeds Launch and it was definitely one not to be missed! Republic have redesigned the store's concept and made it bigger, brighter and more appealing, even the website has had a re-vamp! Republic now stock brands like American Apparel, Converse, Levi's & Lipsy which I feel will appeal to a wider range of people. I travelled up on my own but made a friend in the stunning Sophie Coletta (pictured) who happened to be staying in the same hotel. Once we arrived at the store and given our wristbands we were taken to the bar for beers, ciders & cocktails which were all delicious! Canapes were shortly brought around including mini burgers & chips and onion & goat's cheese tarts. I also managed to get a t-shirt printed especially for Karl as an early birthday present. After filling up on drinks & food we headed downstairs for the music with acts including; Tyler James from The Voice, Angel & Jess Mills. They were all mind-blowing to say the least and we had yet more music to come..

The afterparty was held at The Faversham in Leeds which resembles someone's stately home from the outside and is both elegant and mysterious on the inside. It was the perfect venue for yet more music, dancing and drinking. We sang Happy Birthday to Tinchy Stryder, sang along to 'The Watchtower' with Devlin and fell in love with Willy Moon's beautiful voice. At 2am it was time to head back to the hotel and sit by the open fire.

A HUGE thanks to Slam PR (special mention to; Melanie, Jamie, Gemma & Natalie) for organising this fantastic event and inviting me, to Republic for being a great host, to The Met Hotel for a great nights sleep and to all the wonderful faces I met that night. Until next time.. x
