|Up & Go|
We've all skipped breakfast right? Especially when we're running out the door because we're late for a meeting and just don't have time for even that 1 weetabix, then 11am comes round and we're starving but it's just too early for lunch. Well our friends down under have come up with a 'breakfast on the go' which has now landed on UK shores. Up & Go is made with wholegrain oats, is high in protein and fibre but low in fat with around 170 calories per carton. It is fortified with vitamins and adapted for the UK market to include Vitamin D for us sun starved brits!
I was kindly sent some carton's to try, but for a foodie like me I was naturally a bit dubious. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, particularly having a large bowl of cereal so when I heard you could get the equivalent in a drink form I was intrigued. Having tried all 3 flavours, it's safe to say Vanilla was my favourite, but I wasn't overly excited about the consistency of the drink. It is thicker than I expected, but I might be biased as I am not a huge milkshake fan and that's the only way I can compare. On the other hand, I was full for around 2.5 hours after drinking and would definitely purchase again if I needed something on the go!
